A Farewell Celebration for Former Principal Toru Okamoto
in New York and Tokyo

We are pleased to announce that we will be holding a farewell celebration in honor of former Principal Toru Okamoto, who has made tremendous contributions to our school over many years. As our first announcement, we would like to share what has been decided so far. We hope you will join us in celebrating this occasion.

We would like to make this a heartfelt celebration in appreciation of Mr. Okamoto. We are looking for volunteers to help in the following ways. Please feel free to reach out to the contact below if you’d like to volunteer or have a suggestion.
Help us create a heartfelt celebration by serving as emcee or facilitator on the day of the event.
Offer a musical performance, dance, speech, or other act to help liven up the celebration.
Send a short (about 30-second) congratulatory video or message. We warmly welcome messages from those who live far away and cannot attend in person.
The New York Ikuei Alumni Association was launched to mark our school’s 45th anniversary and connects New York Ikuei Alumni around the world. Registration is free. This is also the place to volunteer for the event or ask any questions about it.
The official date, participation fee, program details, and further updates will be shared on our Alumni page as they are confirmed. Members of the New York Ikuei Alumni Association will also receive direct updates. We encourage you to register today.
