Over Burgers,
in a Relaxed Atmosphere
Parents from the preschool and elementary divisions of our International School sat down to talk with our teachers and staff
On Sunday, August 30, we welcomed parents from the preschool and elementary divisions of our International School for a Parent Roundtable.
Over hamburgers and other light refreshments, parents and staff talked at an easy, unhurried pace, in a warm atmosphere from beginning to end, about how the children are doing at school and about the things they notice day to day.
It was also an occasion to welcome the families who newly joined us at the start of the second term, and a valuable chance for parents to get to know one another and to build closer ties with our teachers and staff. The children took part as well, and it made for a warm time full of smiles.
To all the parents who joined us, thank you.
At New York Ikuei Gakuen, we will continue to value dialogue and connection with our families, working to build a school where home and school together support the growth of every child.
